Luna Park Tel Aviv: Rides, Getting There and Prices7 min read

Luna Park Tel Aviv (Meaning in Hebrew something like “Tel Aviv Amusement Park”) is an amusement park in the Tel Aviv Exhibition Center complex. It was opened in 1970, as an urban amusement park. It replaced the “Amusement Park of Jaffa” that operated from 1952.

When it opened, it had only three rides: a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, and a horse carousel. Over time many rides were added including a roller coaster. During its period of operation by the municipality, admission to the complex was free, and visitors paid separately for each ride. In the late 1980s, the amusement park was privatized and transferred to the management of a private company.
